Job description

Transport product to destinations throughout Canada and/or the United States

Provide proper documentation to dispatch and at border crossing

Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy

Load and unload goods

Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes

Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials

Pay and receive payments for goods

Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, and vehicle inspections
-
Communicate effectively with central dispatch, recorded information included
-
Ensuring safety and security of cargo (e.g. tarping)
